The location couldn't be more convenient, with all the main tourist attractions just a short walk away, including the iconic Puerta del Sol Gate and Plaza de España square. Maria Carmen and her husband went out of their way to accommodate all my needs, making me feel right at home in the bustling city of Madrid.The rooms at the guesthouse were simple yet charming, with parquet floors and free Wi-Fi. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the accommodations, and the fact that most rooms come with their own shower and washbasin added an extra layer of comfort to my stay. The proximity to Callao Metro Station made exploring the city a breeze. Whether I wanted to go shopping at the nearby shops, visit the famous museums, or catch a football match at one of the world-renowned stadiums, everything was easily accessible from Hostal San Martin.
